We arrived back from Les Gets on Wednesday, via the scenic route over the Col de Chandon. Great views from the top, unfortunately Mont Blanc was shrouded in mist.
Yesterday (Thursday), it rained LOTS in 2Alpes, so we went over to Alpe d'Huez to try and sort some accomodation for the Mega week and the imminent arrival of a group on Ginsters.....
We were there all day, met a couple of lovely french girls from the Estate agents (one was called Fleur, like a flower) - in the end decided on an apartment for 10 (there will be six of us in total)
Couldn't complete the final booking because of an issue with their computers. Arrived back in 2Alpes in the mist and went to Smokey Joes for some proper Mexican food. Top Dollar.
Now just waiting for an email from Marie so that I can pay for the apartment and we can get on our way. Gaz has been packing the van, which once again is filled to the brim...
